UPDATE from 4 July 2024- Draft Design
We would like to share the draft design for the park upgrade with you. We will be holding Pop Up Sessions in the Park - see the newsfeed below for dates and times. We would love to see you at the sessions and hear what you think of the design. If you are unable to make the sessions, you are welcome to email Jenny (contact details on the left side of this page)
Apex Rotary Park is getting a facelift! Let us know how you use the park, how you would like to use the park and we'll work with you to workshop the final designs.
The Nyoongar Six Season Stumps in the park are also in need of repairs or upgrading, let us know your ideas for fixing, adding to or changing these installations.
As a local neighborhood park, there is only a certain amount of equipment that can be installed. After all, Australia's best playground (2017 PLA Awards) is just a stones throw away!
We need to improve the accessibility of the park, and while we're there we want to make sure it suits the needs of the local residents and users of the park.
We will be holding a fun community engagement Pop-Up Session, Saturday 17 June, 1.00pm - 3.00pm in the park with games and activities for the kids and free coffee and hot chocolates for our local park community. Come along and share your ideas for your park.
The survey is now closed and the process and timelines are listed to the side.
