Kwinana Senior Ambassadors Program

The City of Kwinana is supporting the Kwinana Seniors Citizens Centre to establish a Kwinana Senior Ambassadors Program.

Statement of purpose: The Kwinana Senior Ambassadors Program (KSAP) fosters active, healthy lifestyles and meaningful social connections for seniors. The Ambassadors promote activities and services that occur at the Kwinana Senior Citizens Centre (KSCC) and advocate for the broader senior community's well-being.

This will be achieved by:

Promoting Kwinana Senior Citizens Centre programs, activities and events in the community
Sharing information about relevant services, support and tailored information;
Acting as advocates, by working alongside Kwinana Seniors, their carers or representatives, the Kwinana Senior Citizens Centre, the City of Kwinana and community organisations.

Ambassador Criteria:

Over 55+ years
Skills and desire to continue advocating for Kwinana to be an age-friendly community
Strong communication skills
