Local Planning Policy 4 - Administration of Developer Contributions

Local Planning Policy 4 - Administration of Developer Contributions was originally adopted by Council on 14 December 2016 and was prepared to build upon the existing provisions of Local Planning Scheme No. 2 (LPS2) in relation to the administration of Developer Contribution Plans (DCPs), specifically, when an amendment to LPS2 is underway and how the City would deal with crediting DCP works undertaken by developers.

The policy has operated largely as intended, however due to revisions to State Planning Policy 3.6 – Infrastructure Contributions, clause numbering in LPS2 and internal audit findings, a revision of the policy was necessary.

The revision has deemed that there are no fundamental changes required to the policy’s operation, however updates to references, formatting and other internal process changes are needed.
