It is important that the people that live and work in these areas can share their experience in relation to traffic issues in their local neighbourhood. We invite residents to complete their feedback below by Friday 1^st November 2024 and to choose from the options below:

Option 1: Horizontal Deflection – Slow Points / Modified Intersection

Advantages:

• Reduces vehicle speeds at the device location and, when used in series, along the entire street.
• Significantly lowers the number of road crashes.
• Provides opportunities for landscaping enhancements.

Option 2: Vertical Devices – Speed Humps/Speed Plateaus

Advantages:

• Dramatically decreases vehicle speeds and crashes.
• Cost-effective to install and maintain.
• May reduce traffic volumes due to slower speeds and increased travel times.
• Potentially discourages through traffic.

Option 3: No further changes implemented for the next 2-5 years
