The City of Kwinana is delighted to announce we will be partnering with the RAC through their Reconnect WA initiative, on an upcoming project in Wellard.
Reconnect WA seeks to help re-imagine and revitalise streets and public spaces to create connected, safe and sustainable places. Focusing on The Strand in Wellard, the project will work with local businesses and the community to implement a program of temporary trials, activation, beatification, and interventions in September – November of this year.
To prepare and plan for this activation period, we will be running a series of audits, workshops and other engagement initiatives throughout June – July 2022. As a local business we would love to hear your thoughts, and would be eager to organize a time to discuss your experiences and to hear your ideas for the area.
To find out more or to get involved, please don’t hesitate to email place@kwinana.wa.gov.au or call our Place Team via (08) 9439 0200.

Edit: We've turned off comments on this post, but added an option to ask a question, or post an idea you have for The Strand. This will help make sure we don't miss anything. Just use the 'Questions' or 'Ideas' tab above.
