This network brings together WA Local Government Professionals from a variety of disciplines who work with communities to build, grow, and nurture places and neighbourhoods.

We have an event coming up in October and your invited!

Join us for a free networking event where we’ll walk along The Strand and unpack how the original vision for an inclusive, transit-oriented, shared space shaped community life in Wellard Village. Hear how this foundation influenced the 7 Day Makeover and The Forever Project, and discover practical insights on cutting red tape, building cross-team momentum, and getting everyone on board.

This session is designed for local government professionals across traffic engineering, landscape architecture, urban planning and design, place activation, management, and placemaking. Come connect with peers, share ideas, and see first-hand how collaborative approaches have transformed place outcomes.

Welcome to the WA LG Placemaking Network Survey!

We would love to hear your thoughts to help shape the offerings of the WA LG Placemaking Network, and ensure they best meet your need as members.

To this end, we have pulled together a survey asking about topics of interest, challenges, and how you’d like to be involved/stay in touch. The survey should take just three - five minutes to complete and will directly influence how we move forward as a network.

We are excited for this network to grow and develop along with the place space here in WA, and are delighted to invite you to be involved, as little or as much as you would like!
