Kwinana Canvas: Defining local Arts and Culture
The City is developing an Arts and Culture Strategy, and we want to hear from you! Your feedback and insights will help shape our plans and ensure they reflect the interests and needs of our community.
We are in the process of hosting a series of workshops and will be posting a survey here shortly.
If you'd like to be kept in the loop, please register your details or see below opportunities to engage.

Help Create a Beautiful Textile Artwork! ποΈπΈ
Let’s bring nature and creativity together! Come be part of a collaborative artwork by choosing a bird, flower, or leaf that speaks to you. You might find inspiration in your own backyard, from a special place you've visited or your birthplace. This beautiful collection of birds and plants—near and far—will come together to inspire a large textile wall hanging by artist Angela Ferola, woven with the stories of our community.
To get started, join one of our three hands-on workshops at the library with Angela! Learn about colour mixing, painting techniques, and how to create your own unique contribution. And later this year… keep an eye out! Our collaborative artwork will take shape and find its place in the community for all to enjoy.
