Registration - 24 February - Grant Writing Essentials Workshop

Please join us at our next Information and Networking Night to discuss: Grant Essentials - improving your knowledge and capability to write grant applications big or small

This session is aimed at volunteer Grants Coordinators or anyone at the club who wants to learn the tricks and tips of grant writing!

What we will cover:

  • What is a grant, where to find them and how to check eligibility and assessment criteria.
  • How to prepare for grant success.
  • How to correctly address the grant criteria.
  • What are grant assessors looking for and how do you give them what they need?
  • Answers to any specific grant writing questions that you have!

Each attendee will be provided with a Grant Writing Checklist and a Project Plan template to use for planning projects and writing grant applications.

The session will be presented by Alex Hodges who brings over a decade worth of experience to the field of grant and project management through her previous roles in the Local Government, not for profit and private sectors. She has in-depth knowledge of sourcing grants and the application process.

Alex is passionate about increasing the chances of funding success for local community organisations, not for profits, and businesses.

Networking Opportunity!!

  • We would love for this session to be an opportunity for sharing information but also for our clubs to socialise and network. A light dinner and drinks will be offered during the night.
  • For those clubs who haven't already met Wendy, our new Senior Team Leader (Club Development and Health) this will be a great opportunity to put a face to her name as Wendy will be a great resource for clubs, to help them grow and prosper.

As we will be catering the event, we ask that all registrations be received by Wednesday 19 February.

We expect this will be a popular session, so register quickly!
