The City of Kwinana has received a development application for a Tavern and redevelopment of the Kwinana Marketplace at the above address.

The application primarily involves the extension to the western frontage of the Kwinana Marketplace to provide activation of the shopping centre by introducing a dedicated dining precinct. The application proposes:

• Rearranging existing tenancies to accommodate a range of potential uses, including Tavern, Amusement Centre, Eating House, Licensed Restaurant and Shop. Note that future tenants have not yet been confirmed, however a Tavern is likely to occupy the tenancy T68.

• Minor extensions to the western frontage of the existing shopping centre to provide outdoor seating areas, external play area (42 sqm), upgraded landscaping, and improved pedestrian access.

• Rearranging car parking and circulation areas along the western frontage.

• New centre branding signage (including pylons), directional signage and tenant signage / branding.
