Whether you're a resident, someone who works in Kwinana, a visitor, an organisation, or one of our many partners, the relationships we have with you help us better serve the community. These relationships, and the knowledge sharing that takes place, help us make better decisions. This engagement should be at the heart of everything we do, and we're always looking to do better.

Over the last 18 months we have been developing our first Engagement Framework. This document provides vision and direction for how we engage with you. Whether it's our day to day relationships, formal partnerships, or specific consultation projects, how well we engage affects how well we can support, work with, and build capacity in the community.

We now need your help to review the draft Engagement Policy (setting the vision and direction) and Engagement Framework (describing our overall approach, and the key components of the framework). These have both been developed from previous feedback from the community, what we've learnt as an organisation over the last two years, looking at better practice, and incorporating our vision for engagement at the City.

We'd really appreciate it if you could review the two attached documents and provide any feedback using the form below.

At this stage we are only reviewing the Engagement Policy and Engagement Framework. The Engagement Toolkit and Engagement Action Plan will be developed once the policy and framework have been adopted.

We're very proud of how far this has come, and really value our relationship with you. Looking forward to any and all feedback!

  • Thank you so much for helping with the review of the Engagement Policy and Engagement Framework! When you're providing feedback, please be as specific as you can. There's also no limit on the amount of feedback you can provide, and the more information we have, the better these documents will be.
