We received a great response to the Homestead Park playground replacement survey and drop-in session held on Wednesday 23 January, with a clear consensus for playground Option 3.

The supplier has been engaged and it is anticipated that the new playground will be installed June 2024 to allow for manufacture, delivery and installation of the equipment.

Every year the City identifies playground equipment approaching the end of its life and replaces it with similar equipment based on current trends, best practice, accessibility and local enjoyment. This year, the equipment at Homestead Park on the corner of Wellard and Bertram Road will be replaced and the City would love for you to vote on the final design by clicking the 'Take Survey' button at the bottom of this page. Consultation is open from 10 January to 30 January 2024.

Come and talk to us at Homestead Park! We’ll be hosting an onsite community information and feedback session, so bring your family and friends to have a play on the current equipment, look at the renewal plans and enjoy a story in the park with our library team. We’re looking forwarding to hearing your feedback and any other ideas and suggestions you have that we might be able to consider at this park in the future.
