The City of Kwinana is seeking comment on the Wandi District Centre Precinct Structure Plan that has been lodged with the City of Kwinana for assessment.
The purpose of the precinct structure plan is to coordinate the development of the proposed Wandi District Centre (near the north-east corner of Kwinana Freeway and Anketell Road) comprising of a supermarket, specialty retail, food outlets, tavern, take away food outlets, community centre and residential land on 39.5 hectares of land.
The Wandi District Activity Centre will become a community hub which will continue to develop over time. It will create a place for business and social interaction for residents from the surrounding community. The range of commercial uses will also serve the needs of the wider locality.
This precinct structure plan has been prepared by town planning consultants on behalf of the owners of Lots 2 (No. 727) and 313 (No. 651) Anketell Road, Wandi pursuant to the City of Kwinana Local Planning Scheme No. 2 and Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. The following technical documents have been prepared by the other specialist consultants to support the precinct structure plan:
Transport Impact Assessment
Local Water Management Strategy
Environmental Assessment Report
Civil Servicing Report
Bushfire Management Plan
Powerline Assessment
Retail Trade and Floorspace Potential Assessment
