Council Plan
We've had a bustling couple of weeks engaging with the community for the Council Plan. It's been wonderful to hear about the community's future aspirations.
So far, we've visited:
- Wandi Progress Association on 15th May
- Darius Wells Library on 15th May
- Honeywood Markets on 19th May
- Medina Heritage Walk on 19th May
- Banksia Park Retirement Village on 23rd May
- Information and Networking evening on 23rd May
- Kwinana Marketplace on 24th May
- Tree Planting at Henley Park on 26th May
- Koorliny Arts Centre 29th May
- Kwinana Marketplace on 31st May
We're eagerly anticipating more opportunities to connect with the community in the weeks ahead.
We’re encouraging residents to submit photographs showcasing what they love about Kwinana or its people. These images will be compiled to form a mosaic, painting a vivid picture of our community. Additionally, this mosaic will serve as a living memory, contributing to a time capsule as we approach a significant milestone in our City's history.
Further details can be found on https://www.lovemykwinana.com/council-plan and you can check out the captivating mosaic via https://musemosaic.com/mosaic/HeadingTowardsOneHundred
We look forward to your contributions in shaping our future!

I's been a busy start to the year for our Engagement Team! We've been actively participating in local events, markets, workshops, and more, gathering valuable feedback from our community regarding upcoming projects.
Currently, we're inviting Expressions of Interest from community members to join our Kwinana Community Champions group. This assembly of local community leaders will assist us in advocating for and promoting the projects we're engaging in, thus contributing to the shaping of Kwinana's future. We view this initiative as an opportunity to cultivate stronger, mutually beneficial relationships within the community.
The group will play a pivotal role in leading and steering the delivery of our engagement projects. Regular meetings will be held to discuss our latest endeavors and areas of interest within our local government, providing participants with invaluable insights into future directions.
Your ideas will be instrumental in ensuring that the entire community is represented. We all bring diverse experiences of living, working, and enjoying life in Kwinana, and it's crucial that each voice is heard in determining what comes next.
