Redefining roles: Community Development Officer (Recreation and Health)

After a heavy workload and much internal advocacy, Jessie now takes on a slight role change. Her new title better defines her responsibilities as Recreation & Health rather then Recreation & Inclusion. This role change comes with the development of a new full-time 3 year contract role - Healthy and Active Lifestyles Project Officer. Nikita Bhavsar has been appointed in this role to further action components of the 2019-2023 Public Health Plan and Health Promotion Portfolio. The addition of this new role enables Jessie to focus further on Club Development outcomes, and instead of lead, she will assist and advise where need on the health portfolio.
