Kwinana Youth Volunteering Program

The Kwinana Youth Volunteering Program, a collaboration between the Zone Youth Space, Kwinana Recquatic and the Kwinana Public Library which offers specific volunteer roles to young people aged 16 – 24 years who live, or go to school, in the City of Kwinana. A number of volunteer roles are available:


Kwinana Recquatic

  • Gym Instructor Assistant
  • Lifeguard Assistant
  • Swimming School Instructor Assistant
  • Team Sports Assistant
  • Kids Sports Assistant


Kwinana Public Library

  • Technology Assistant
  • Device Advice Assistant (Customer Enquiries)
  • Device Advice Assistant (Surveys)
  • Device Advice Assistant (Research)


Zone Youth Space

  • Kitchen Assistant
  • Zone Program Assistant


Eligibility

To participate in the Kwinana Youth Volunteering Program you must be:

  • Aged 16 – 24 years
  • Live, or go to school, in the City of Kwinana
  • Willing to sign up as a City of Kwinana volunteer
  • Willing to obtain a Working With Children Card and apply for a National Police Check if required (18 years or older)



Commitment

Volunteers will be asked to do 2 – 3 hours per week for at least 6 months in the role of their choice.
